What is enerjyhub?

Enerjyhub serves as the engineering supplier portal for Jaguar Land Rover, granting secure access to the engineering tools utilised by Jaguar Land Rover and its supplier partners for successful vehicle program delivery. Starting in 2021, enerjyhub has been integrated into Jaguar Land Rover's mandatory supplier sourcing process, ensuring that all suppliers receive support throughout their tenure as a supplier partner for Jaguar Land Rover.

What is the enerjyhub Academy?

Enerjyhub's training Academy allows suppliers to deliver projects efficiently and within the designated time frame. The learning centre enables suppliers to complete the required courses that will enable them to work smoothly with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and improve the skills of their workforce to adopt a right-first-time approach. To access the Academy, navigate to 'Training' on your enerjyhub navigation bar and select 'Academy'.

How does my company subscribe to enerjyhub?

I already have access to eAPQP (or another JLR app) why do I need to subscribe to enerjyhub ?

If a supplier wants to onboard existing users to new programmes/commodities or new users to existing programmes/commodities, they need to be subscribed to enerjyhub. All requests for new setup or change management are handled through enerjyhub. As the actions, information, communications, and contact details are dynamic and may change over time, maintaining an active enerjyhub subscription and associated information is crucial to ensure that suppliers are always up-to-date and have access to the latest information from Jaguar Land Rover.

I have multiple VMC sites distributed across different physical sites however we manage all Engineering IT Helpdesk through one site - can I subscribe one site ?

No, the cost model for enerjyhub subscription is based on the number of VMC sites, regardless of whether the IT support is provided from a single physical site. The reasoning behind this is that enerjyhub provides training and access enablement to individual engineers, which is tracked at the VMC level.

I have multiple sites - can I sign up just one of them now ?

It is recommended that all sites with active programme requirements subscribe to enerjyhub. Discounts on subscription fees are available for multiple sites subscribed at the same time, as this reduces administration costs. Additionally, any new business awarded to a supplier will result in the addition of new sites, which will benefit from discounts based on the total number of subscribing sites.

I have subscribed to enerjyhub, what should I do next?

After subscribing to enerjyhub, the next step is to ensure that you have completed the getting started process. This includes providing all necessary information and documentation in manage my site, completing required assessments such as your IT Security Questionnaire, Supplier Capability Assessment Questionnaire, and other relevant details.Once your onboarding is complete, you should familiarise yourself with the enerjyhub portal and the various modules available to you, such as the Knowledge Base and Training modules. You should also ensure that you have access to all the required applications and tools, such as eAPQP and 3DEXPERIENCE, if applicable.Finally, it is important to maintain your enerjyhub subscription and associated information to ensure that you are always up to date and have access to the latest information from Jaguar Land Rover. This includes staying informed about any changes or updates to processes and requirements, and completing any necessary training or certification.

I'm a supplier to SVO, do I need to subscribe?

Yes, as a supplier to SVO, you need to onboard to eAPQP and other JLR applications, and therefore you are required to subscribe to enerjyhub.

Is the Global Supplier Integration (GSI) service still part of Jaguar Land Rover?

Yes, the GSI team at Jaguar Land Rover still maintains its roles and responsibilities. However, enerjyhub serves as a tool to automate the current processes and enhance the service provided by the GSI team when working with JLR.

My company is a make to print supplier and doesn't always share data with Jaguar Land Rover. Should we subscribe?

Yes, it is strongly recommended that suppliers subscribe to enerjyhub if there are any data exchange requirements with the Jaguar Land Rover Product Engineering teams. This ensures that suppliers have access to the necessary tools and resources to exchange data efficiently and securely.

My company provides facilities / tooling to manufacturing. Should we subscribe?

If your company provides facilities or tooling to Jaguar Land Rover's manufacturing operations and has a need to access their engineering tools or exchange data with their Product Engineering teams, then it is essential that you subscribe to enerjyhub.Enerjyhub provides secure access to the engineering tools used by Jaguar Land Rover and its supplier partners to deliver vehicle programs. My company provides “off the shelf” parts (i.e. we do not get involved in design or development). Should we subscribe?

Yes. Where there are requirements of any kind to access Jaguar Land Rover systems within Product Engineering (E.g. ePSW or eAPQP) it is strongly recommended that suppliers subscribe. For more information, you can read the official Supplier announcement letter from Jaguar Land Rover.

My company uses MX to exchange CAD data with Engineers within JLR. Does enerjyhub replace MX therefore changes the way I will need to work?

It's important to note that enerjyhub does not replace MX, which is a separate system used for data transfer between Jaguar Land Rover and its suppliers. However, suppliers who subscribe to enerjyhub may be provided with MX accounts, subject to meeting certain requirements set by JLR and following the MX Governance process. Temporary MX accounts may also be issued in cases such as interim data transfer solutions or RFQ purposes. My company uses MX to exchange CAD data with JLR. Do we need to subscribe?

Certainly. All sites must maintain their contact information, have an appropriate PLM Statement of Work, and complete several supplier assessments, all of which can be done within enerjyhub. Suppliers must establish a connection to the appropriate Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) PLM tool for CAD data exchange. MX access will only be allowed for exceptional data exchange use cases.

Our company users already have access to all of the Jaguar Land Rover applications that they need. Should we subscribe?

Yes, subscribing to enerjyhub is still necessary even if your company users already have access to all of the Jaguar Land Rover applications they need. Enerjyhub is a comprehensive platform that provides a centralised location for managing all aspects of the engineering and design process, including supply chain management, collaboration, and product lifecycle management (PLM).Subscribing to enerjyhub provides access to essential tools and resources such as IT security questionnaires, training courses, and other important information that are critical for working efficiently and effectively with Jaguar Land Rover. It also ensures that your company is up-to-date with any new requirements or changes in Jaguar Land Rover's policies and procedures. We are aware that there is a requirement for suppliers to utilise 3DEXPERIENCE. Does enerjyhub include 3DEXPERIENCE?

No, enerjyhub subscription does not include licences for 3DEXPERIENCE, which is a CAD/PLM toolset. However, enerjyhub does provide support for acquiring and configuring 3DEXPERIENCE. If you need more information on 3DEXPERIENCE, please contact the GSI Team via the Contact Us page.

We have multiple JLR VMC site codes for 1 physical site - do I need to subscribe them all.

In some cases, a JLR VMC site code may exist for currency variation purposes only, and in such instances, there will be no need to subscribe to that particular VMC. However, if you are unsure whether a specific VMC requires subscription, it is best to discuss the matter with your enerjyhub account manager, who will investigate the situation and provide guidance accordingly.

We use COVISINT at the moment why do I need enerjyhub ?

Majenta currently manages the physical access to eAPQP and all support requirements, and enerjyhub provides the administration, knowledge, technical support, and new setup for all JLR applications including eAPQP. Although Covisint is the primary B2B platform for Purchasing and hosts eAPQP data, from March 2020, no new commodities can be directly onboarded into Covisint. To access Covisint for eAPQP, all administration change requirements, new commodities, and new suppliers require a subscription to enerjyhub.

What is Conformity of Production (CoP)?

Conformity of Production (COP) is the process of demonstrating the ability to produce a series of products that meet the exact specification, performance, and marking requirements outlined in the type approval documentation at the time of vehicle certification. It is crucial for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and its suppliers to prove the ongoing compliance of their parts and systems in accordance with the relevant legislation for the market it is due to be sold in.In line with JLR's digital collaboration strategy, Conformity of Production will now be managed in enerjyhub. From April 2021, all CoP related data files will be exchanged with JLR suppliers in enerjyhub. This move will enhance the security and traceability of files exchanged, including Supplier Control Plans and Specification documents.

Where can I get information regarding IT connectivity & security requirements into Jaguar Land Rover?

The enerjyhub portal offers you access to all this information, including the mandatory IT Security Questionnaire for all connected suppliers. Subscribing to enerjyhub also gives you access to an IT supplier training course that is regularly updated with new information and security requirements relevant to your organisation.

Where can I get information regarding future CAD / PLM releases at JLR?

Who are GSI?

The Jaguar Land Rover Global Supplier Integration (GSI) team is responsible for managing the relationships between Jaguar Land Rover and its suppliers, ensuring that suppliers meet the company's requirements and standards for quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability. The GSI team works closely with suppliers to support them in achieving these objectives, and to identify opportunities for collaboration and continuous improvement. They also provide guidance and training to suppliers on Jaguar Land Rover's systems and processes, and oversee the implementation of supplier development programs to drive innovation and efficiency in the supply chain.

Why do I need to subscribe multiple sites?

If any of your sites are actively involved in Engineering, Purchasing STA, Programmes, or Quality for Jaguar Land Rover, then enerjyhub subscription is necessary. enerjyhub supports all Active Engineering Sites, and its applications cater to various requirements, including CAD data exchange using Teamcenter and 3DEXPERIENCE, quality using eAPQP for Engineering and STA, requirement management using RMDV2, issue management using AIM2, and Part Submission Warrant completion using ePSW.

Roles and Resonsibilities

My site does not have a SIM set up. What should I do?

To find out who your Supplier Integration Manager (SIM) is in enerjyhub, go to your enerjyhub dashboard and click on your avatar in the top corner. From there, select 'My Account' and you should see your SIM's name and email address listed. If the SIM field is blank, you can raise a case in enerjyhub to request assistance.

What is the Supplier Account Manager Role?

The Supplier Account Manager (SAM) is a role within enerjyhub that serves as the primary point of contact for suppliers subscribed to the platform. The SAM is responsible for managing the supplier's account, facilitating communication between the supplier and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), and ensuring that the supplier meets JLR's requirements and standards.The SAM role also involves providing training and support to suppliers on the use of enerjyhub, as well as monitoring and tracking supplier performance and compliance. The SAM may also assist with the resolution of any issues or disputes that may arise between the supplier and JLR.

What is the Supplier Integration Manager role?

The Supplier Integration Manager (SIM) role in enerjyhub is responsible for managing the onboarding and integration of new suppliers into Jaguar Land Rover's supply chain. The SIM is the main point of contact for suppliers during the onboarding process and ensures that all necessary steps are completed, such as submitting the IT Security Questionnaire and completing the necessary training courses.The SIM also provides guidance to suppliers on the use of enerjyhub and ensures that suppliers are able to meet the technical and data exchange requirements set by Jaguar Land Rover. They work closely with other Jaguar Land Rover teams, such as the Global Supplier Integration (GSI) team, to ensure a smooth onboarding and integration process for suppliers.

What is the enerjyhub User role?

The Supplier Integration Manager designates the enerjyhub user to fulfil Jaguar Land Rover application requirements. As an enerjyhub user, one can monitor the status of their onboarding tasks and mark completed tasks in the community. If any issues arise, the user can use the 'create a case' tool to report them, and access the knowledge base for supporting documents that aid in completing the onboarding tasks.
